Talking biodiversity at Ecobuild
We were tasked with the job of maximising pre-Ecobuild editorial opportunities in key building trade media targets to promote increased footfall to the stand and build relationships with the media.
Our secondary objective was to host a ‘Meet the Media’ networking drinks reception on the stand for selected journalists to meet Wildflower Turf directors.
The stand boasted some stunning wildflower turf in full bloom and even a bee box in collaboration with Bumble Bee Conservation to illustrate the biodiversity benefits of wildflower turf. Our client’s show offering also included managing director James Hewetson-Brown giving a series of talks on and how it can help developers and specifiers meet sustainable development targets such as BREEAM.
We drafted a press pack and secured slots in Ecobuild show preview editorials in 8 publications. This resulted in increased footfall to the stand throughout the three days and good attendance at our client’s talks in the Biodiversity Pavilion.
The Meet the Media event attracted representatives from 6 key media publications and resulted in several pieces of editorial coverage for Wildflower Turf and commissions for features over the following few weeks.
