Architects and building specifiers are difficult targets and their trade media is very selective and biased towards covering well-known architects.
When we were briefed by Ergolet to drive sales from earned news coverage, we faced the added challenge of inspiring the architectural media to write about disability.
Our approach was to give the media a case study of the products in the Eden Project.
Our results? Widespread coverage, including RIBA Journal, on the commercial benefit of catering for disabled people’s needs, which positioned Ergolet as the ‘go-to’ for new build or retro-fit, and the Eden Project as a disability-friendly tourist attraction. Coverage was secured in a range of health and disability media too.
