Against the clock - tight deadlines for Mother’s Day sales

Kinetik Wellbeing briefed the Gravitas PR team one month before Mother’s Day in February 2015 to push Love My Skin products as the perfect gift for Mums and increase web hits and overall brand awareness.

Despite the very short lead time, Gravitas used the three weeks available to contact website editors, weekly consumer magazines and bloggers in order to secure coverage.

The campaign was given the theme ‘Give the Gift of Good Skin’ and product copy was drafted to fit press and blogger gift guides.

Alongside this we wrote copy for Kinetik to share on Facebook and Twitter in order to engage with their fans and followers and we handled all media mailer and sample requests in house.

The three weeks flew by and resulted in 20 pieces of coverage for the range of Love My Skin products on sites such as, The Dad Network and Fighting Fifty, all with links back to the Kinetik website. The coverage had a combined reach of 1.5 million people and resulted in spikes in number of website visits for the brand.

The team also managed to secure follow-up review pieces with some outlets and coverage for products outside the range as part of an ongoing press office role.
