PR firm boosted by Olympic legacy

Gravitas Public Relations has leapt from the 2013 starting blocks with two new client wins - strengthening its presence in the healthcare and environment sectors.

The consultancy has been appointed by Basingstoke-based Wildflower Turf and Health and Case Management Limited (HCML), from Croydon, to build profile and reputation in their respective industries.

Wildflower Turf provided real meadow grass for Danny Boyle’s Olympic opening ceremony, and briefed Gravitas to promote this work to groups including planners, architects, builders and landscapers, as well as maximise its attendance at March’s Ecobuild trade show.

HCML provides rehabilitation services to those with road-traffic, sport or work-related injuries. Through a program of news and thought leadership, Gravitas will raise the firm’s profile in the insurance, legal, business and healthcare media.

Managing Director Kay Williamson said: "Issues in healthcare, biodiversity and sustainability really excite us and we’re looking forward to working closely with these firms.

She added: "It’s great that the Olympics have provided a boost to businesses across the country like ours, not just those based in the capital.”
